Our Story – Fischers at Sea Travel

We met a little over a year ago at the Florida Moose Association Conference and quickly realized how much we had in common. Both of us had been blessed to share more than 30 wonderful years with our late spouses before God called them home. Through friendship, faith, and a few heartfelt conversations, we helped each other through some tough times and came to understand something important — the only thing truly guaranteed is today.

Last year, on Marty’s birthday, Marty invited Sharen to join him on the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise. We had an amazing time surrounded by friends, laughter, and sunshine. That trip was the start of something special — a promise to keep living life to the fullest. Since then, we’ve been on six cruises together and even took a fantastic trip to Denver!

Between the two of us, we have more than 50 years of event-planning experience. For years,  Sharen planned family cruises for all 14 of her children and grandchildren — organizing everything from dining and excursions to special celebrations at sea. Whether it’s a cozy gathering for ten or a wedding or family reunion for over a hundred guests, planning joyful experiences has always been a passion for both of us.

Now, as we plan our own wedding at sea, we have decided to help others create their own unforgettable memories too. That’s how Fischers at Sea Travel was born.
